Hotels and Hostels
Hotels are a good option for people who can spend a little more on lodging and want the amenities a Hotel can provide. Below are some of the those in Heredia that are walking distance from the school.
Located at the centre of Heredia, 11 km from San José, Hotel Hojarascas features free WiFi access (20 megabyte speed) and free private parking.
The rooms are equipped with a TV. Rooms are fitted with a private bathroom.
Located in the heart of Heredia, Hotel America offers a 24-hour front desk and a free basic breakfast.
Rooms at this hotel feature a fan, cable TV and a private bathroom with hairdryer. Free Wi-Fi is available in public areas.
Being one of the cheaper options in Heredia and just a short walk from the school, Tony’s Hostel offers students an affordable stay with a homey feel. Clean beds, free coffee and wifi, and a friendly atmosphere with other travelers, this hostel is great option for students.
Over the past five years, the popularity of AirBnB has grown a lot throughout Costa Rica. The site offers many options walking distance from Tico Lingo. Although they vary in price, amenities, and level of accommodation, these three options below come highly recommended.
Cosy and Quiet Apartment
Nice, cosy and quiet apartment just a minutes walk from Tico Lingo. Many students have stayed at this AirBnb and have enjoyed its proximity to the school and the kindness of the host.
Very centrally located and completely furnished, this apartment comes with a fully stocked kitchen and bathroom. It’s a bit more expensive but it’s spacious and offers students plenty of privacy and homey vibes.
Private Bedroom in Heredia
Although it doesn’t offer students a whole house or apartment, this AirBnb is located less than a five minutes walk from Tico Lingo. The guest has a reputation of being very accommodating and more than willing to share plates and kitchenware for those who prefer cooking.
