Seasonal Job Opportunities
We are Tico Lingo, a passionate organization dedicated to providing transformative experiences for high school and middle school students. Our mission is to inspire the next generation to discover their potential, connect with new cultures, and make a meaningful impact on the world. Through our Spanish immersion programs in Costa Rica, we offer a unique blend of language learning, cultural exploration, and adventure that leaves a lasting impression.
Tico Lingo has welcomed and trained exceptional staff from around the globe to lead high quality programs. For years, our program leaders, dedicated educators, cultural enthusiasts, and adventurers, have been carefully selected for their passion, expertise, and commitment to creating unforgettable experiences for students.

We actively encourage individuals from all backgrounds to apply and help us build a welcoming and equitable community that reflects the global spirit of our mission.
We are looking for an experienced camp leader to help run our Teen Spanish Summer Camp. Our camps are intensive two week programs that place students in homestays and small group Spanish classes, while also taking them on daily field trips to animal rescue centers, city museums and markets, rainforests, and beaches, among many others. The program is open to students ages 13 to 17, many of whom are traveling outside their home country for the first time.
The Camp Leader role includes planning and leading afternoon activities, acting as a bridge between students and school staff, communicating camp rules and expectations, organizing and supporting the daily itinerary, and providing emotional support to students who may feel homesick. The role also includes occasional WhatsApp communication with parents, as well as taking and sharing photos throughout the camp.
Experience working with teenagers or youth programs is required, and a fun loving, patient, and positive attitude is essential. Please feel free to message us with any questions.
