I cannot speak highly enough of this program! I stayed with an incredible family and attended fabulous classes for 7 weeks, with no prior Spanish knowledge. If you are thinking about this program.... just do it!! It will be the highlight of your year. 🙂 Thank you to everyone at Tico Lingo for being with me through my Spanish journey.

Tico Lingo proved to be such an amazing start of my Spanish learning journey! I took a 2 weeks course and was put in an amazing group where we absolutely enjoyed learning together. Thank you teacher Ken for being our phenomenal teacher who had such innovative ways to teach us not only Spanish but also the beautiful culture of Costa Rica, which is one of main reasons why I started learning Spanish! Teacher Ken made the learning experience for all of us so much fun. I also took private lessons with him which helped me a lot. Thank you to Yenifer & Chris for arranging my private classes and for building such a beautiful school, its a lot and you guys do it with so much passion! I am definitely coming back! A shoutout to wonderful Yami who emits such a motherly feeling around the school and makes delicious coffee everyday and weekly lunches!

Tico Lingo is a phenomenal program! I initially signed up for a two week session, but I decided to extend and stayed an additional two weeks. I highly recommend the homestay experience. My host families were kind, loving, and so patient. I am grateful that I had the opportunity to live with them and learn Spanish in their beautiful homes. My teachers, Erick, Yobeth, and Elizabeth were incredible! Their teaching styles made learning Spanish a fun and engaging experience for me. On the weekends, I explored various parts of the country with friends from class. We went hiking, ziplining, explored San Jose, and so much more! Overall, I highly recommend the program and hope to return in the future!

Provided a fantastic opportunity for my daughter to improve her Spanish, experience a new culture and enjoy adventure activities. I would recommend to anyone!
