Thank you so much for the amazing experience you provided for my son. He spent four weeks in full Spanish immersion, learning for seven hours every day. The program included unforgettable trips to volcanoes and waterfalls, as well as shared lunches with the group that made the experience even more special. The results have been incredible—he can now speak Spanish fluently. We are truly grateful for your dedication, encouragement, and the wonderful environment you created. My three children just completed a two week summer camp and all had the MOST amazing experience! My husband also participated in the adult camp and our youngest child did not do a homestay, so we had the unique opportunity to observe camp (at least briefly!) nearly every day. Heredia is the perfect location for an immersion experience - safe and authentic. The homestay mother and her home were wonderful and the meals were delicious. The kids were all placed appropriately into their level of Spanish classes and learned a great deal. The days were packed with learning and immersion activities, including white water rafting and beach time. The small groups (roughly 4-5 in a class and 20 campers overall) allowed the kids to bond quickly and form great friendships. Chris, Mary and Nicole were all amazing and we were so sorry to leave them!! They handled the inevitable minor issues such as camper medical problems with absolute professionalism and kindness. Our kids could not say enough great things about all of them. Our son, who did not do the homestay, regretted that decision greatly! We all hope to return soon!

A superb place to learn/improve your Spanish communication skill!

Tico Lingo was a great program to move the needle on my Spanish level. I spent three weeks there and definitely feel more confident and competent when speaking. My host family was amazing and I made so many great friendships during this time. Rosi is an amazing coordinator for the school and constantly made me feel welcome. Shout out to Freddy for being great and approaching lessons with competence and humor (very thank you much, NO VERY thank you much! ) highly recommend this program!

Tico Lingo is a great place to learn Spanish. The staff are very supportive, informative, and helpful. They are very friendly and will answer all questions you have or help with any needs. I felt like the teachers are very knowledgable and will hold you accountable to learn, but with compassion and understanding. I felt like I was placed into the correct level of class and was challenged well and grew a lot over the month I was there.
