Tico Lingo partners with more than forty welcoming families across Heredia who open their homes to our students year-round. Dive headfirst into Costa Rican life through hands-on cultural experiences that bring the language to life. Practice Spanish as you roast local coffee, prepare traditional dishes, make chocolate, dance salsa, explore a animal rescue center, or join yoga and pilates classes—all taught entirely in Spanish. Educators also have the opportunity to visit local schools, volunteer at community centers, or spend time with older generations in Heredia, creating authentic moments of exchange and connection.
