Animal Rescue Center
Today we’re heading to Costa Rica’s oldest and largest animal sanctuary for an up-close look at the country’s incredible wildlife. You’ll learn how the center rescues, rehabilitates, and, whenever possible, releases native Costa Rican animals back into the wild. Along the way, you’ll see more than 125 species, including monkeys, sloths, scarlet macaws, and giant iguanas. It’s fun, fascinating, very Costa Rican, and yes, there will be plenty of “wait, how do you say that in Spanish?” moments along the way.
